Priyansh Foundation is an NGO that strongly believes that differently-abled children can learn to lead a normal life if they have effective access to services
like early identification, intervention, education, vocational training, employment opportunities and the availability of aids and appliances.
With this in mind, Priyansh foundation caters to children with various disabilities like Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Hearing and Speech Impaired, Muscular Dystrophy and other physical impairments from slum areas.
The main objective of the programme is to rehabilitate these children through direct institutional care. The improvement in the child’s performance is regularly monitored on the basis of important monitoring variable like speech, gait, psycho-motor development, and vocational therapies. These interventions help the children become normal. Involvement of the child’s parents is an important component of the rehabilitation process. Parent meetings are held regularly to update them on the child’s progress and their supportive role.
The objective of this programme is to help the children overcome their physical and mental limitation so that they can become independent and self reliant members of the community.
